ACPR Annual 4th of July Fireworks Celebration

Ashe County Park will be hosting 4th of July, In the Park, Celebration on to be determined. Gates will open at 3:00pm to the public and there is no cost to get in. A free shuttle service will run from the Ashe County Courthouse starting at 4:00pm and will return guests to the Courthouse following the fireworks show. There will be several vendors that will be selling items that include: Burgers/Hotdogs, drinks, Italian ice, cotton candy, candy, jerky, lemonade, kettle corn, and funnel cakes. The band, Dirtroad Band, will perform from 6:00-9:00pm at the Russ Blevins Shelter. Inflatable jumpies will be available to kids ($5 for a wristband). You're welcome to bring your own food/grills/tailgate tents/chairs. Absolutely NO alcoholic beverages are allowed. Please do not bring your own fireworks. Please leave your pets at home. The fireworks show will begin at 9:45 pm. If you have any additional questions please call or office at 336-982-6185, Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Please note the following:

  • No individual fireworks (sparklers are not considered fireworks)

  • No children under the age of 12 without parental supervision.

  • No ATV’s, four wheelers, or any other off road vehicle.

  • No horses

  • No alcoholic beverages

  • Parking only in designated areas which will be marked off with orange cones; park staff will be directing traffic in and out of the areas.

  • Carpooling is strongly encouraged, and please take advantage of the shuttle

  • Bring hearing protection for children, especially young children.

  • Part Staff and Park Volunteers will be wearing “Staff” shirts in case anyone needs their assistance.

  • Be patient with the parking situation – everyone will be doing the best they can and will attempt to keep the main road open for emergency vehicles
