Ashe County Park Shelter Rental information

Inside the beautiful Ashe Park, there are three shelters equipped with picnic tables and a grill to accommodate your needs. After entering the park and passing the All-Star ball field on your right you will find the Mount Jefferson Shelter at the top of the hill, also on your right. As you continue in the park, passing the upper parking lot and the maintenance building you will find the Russ Blevins Shelter at the bottom of the hill. The final and largest of the three, the Lakeview Shelter, is located directly behind Phoenix Lake, which is equipped with two fishing piers and is stocked several times a year.

 

  • Cost: These shelters are available for rental during normal park hours for $15.00 per hour. 

 

  • Please note that Special Event Applications, a $300.00 flat fee, must be submitted to the ACPR Director at least 30 days in advance of the event.  These are defined as gatherings that are open to the public and conducted and operated by an organization on public property. 

 

  • Seating Capacity: Mount Jefferson (42-48), Russ Blevins (32-48), and Lakeview (86-120).

 

  • All shelters are equipped with nearby restrooms, electricity, running water, and trash receptacles.

 

Field Costs

Multipurpose field     $150.00 Daily

Baseball fields          $100.00 Daily

(Cost includes fields being painted or lined one time)

Due to the large number of requests, the gym, fields, and shelters must be reserved in advance.

Refunds/Cancellation Policy

All fees associated with your reservation are non-refundable. Reservations will not be refunded or rescheduled based on the weather forecast.
