Trail markers are installed to help guide visitors along the trails.

Playground equipment is available for both kids and the young at heart.

The entrance to the expansion is located just below the main entrance to Ashe County Park.

Standing on nearly 150 newly added acres, a 40-by-40-foot picnic shelter, an adventure playground, a bike skills course, and a new multi-use trail system. This shelter is available on a first-come, first-served basis; reservations are not required.
